HSI in the News

While learning all of this, we take notes, listen, and imagine many things.

I would like to start off this blog by stating the obvious: Learning at AMHSI is not conventional.

Here at Alexander Muss High School in Israel we have the opportunity to be in an outside visual classroom.

I’ve always heard my dad talk about Masada and marvel at its existence.

I have made so many friends and I truly feel like the other kids here are my family.

This week we were asked to talk about an “only in Israel” moment.

All of these moments that can “Only happen in Israel” are newly introduced to me and exciting.

It has been seven weeks of the eighteen in the semester of Alexander Muss High School in Israel.

Now that I’ve been here for months already, I know it’s true.

Israel is a truly beautiful and special country, but your experience will be what you make it.

In my opinion, what makes AMHSI so special are the tiyuls we go on.

You name it, we’ve done it.

I connected personally to this tiyul.

I am seriously anticipating this trip.

I fell in love with the challenges that came with it.

The landscape was beautiful and full of trees and foliage.

We spent hours atop Masada and learned about the history and life of the Jews that lived there.

Overall, I believe the Poland trip was an incredible and irreplaceable experience.

I went into the trip looking for answers.
