HSI in the News

I have been in Israel for roughly two weeks, and I have already witnessed countless differences between Americans and Israelis.

I have liked getting used to the cultural differences but some more than others.

I have never learned history this way.

After three weeks of living in Israel I am really starting to get into the swing of things.

I am not going to lie, the school at HSI is VERY different.

To start off, my favorite thing about the classes at Muss are the class sizes.

This is officially our fifth week living in Israel.

This past week marked our one month anniversary since getting to the program.

My semester at Muss so far has gone very well.

The class field trips we partake in make school more interesting and fun than I thought learning could ever possibly be.

Last week, I returned home to New York after two months away studying in Israel.

Really listening to the teachers and taking in everything around you is super important.

After being in Israel for two months now I have started to become accustomed to the new environment.

We are going on a 4-day hike this week starting at the Mediterranean Sea and ending at the Kineret.

Yam le yam is really soon and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and how much mental strength I’m going to need.

Almost hitting the two month mark; crazy to think that we are already here.

On October 3rd we went to the Bar Kochba caves at first.

I am excited to continue this experience and get to know each person better.

My favorite Tiyul was our Yam Le Yam trip, which is 4 days of hiking across the country.

We started the hike at the Mediterranean Sea and began our long journey to the Kinneret.
