Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) 2023 Summer Program is now offering four uniquely different options to ensure you have your best summer yet!
AMHSI Classic
Classic 6-week academic program, formally known as Foundations Israel, will take students on a 4,000-year journey throughout the History and Culture of Israel beginning with the Middle Bronze Age and ending with the Modern Middle East.
Session 1: June 19-July 31, 2023
Session 2: June 26-August 7, 2023

HIGHLIGHTS
- This academic program is offered to rising 11th and 12th graders - LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE
- Located in the beautiful modern city of Ber’ Sheva, this campus features newly renovated state of-the-art dorms, dining room, classrooms, gym, beautiful open spaces to socialize on campus, and walking distance to shops, restaurants, a grocery store and even an ice-skating rink
- Students are eligible for high school and optional college credit
- Over the course of the 6 weeks, students will average 3 days a week in a classroom setting and 3 days a week traveling on tiyulim (trips), from the North to South of Israel with points in-between, visiting such historic sites as King David’s Tunnels, Masada, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Kotel
- Classroom time will include lectures, assignments, quizzes, essays, and a final exam
- Financial aid available for teens who qualify
AMHSI Explore Israel
New 6-week program will offer teens the opportunity to explore all of the rich history, traditions and culture that Israel has to offer.

HIGHLIGHTS
- This non-academic program is offered to rising 11th and 12th graders
- Located outside of Tel Aviv in the city of Hod Hasharon, the AMHSI campus features renovated dorms, dining room, basketball courts, running track, music room and the ability to walk to shops, restaurants, a smoothie bar and much more
- Over the course of the 6 weeks, Explore Israel will follow all of the traditional curriculum without all of the exams. Teens will average 3 days a week on campus participating in seminars, hearing relevant speakers and having the option to choose and create Chugim (tracks) of meaningful content during their trip
- Tiyulim (trips) will be included each week from the North to South of Israel with points in-between, visiting such historic sites as King David’s Tunnels, Masada, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Kotel
- Financial aid available for students who qualify
AMHSI Roots Israel
A unique 4-week travel program focusing on Tikun-Olum, learning, traveling and community service opportunities for our teens.
June 28 - July 25, 2023

HIGHLIGHTS
- This travel program is offered to rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders
- Travel based program with accommodations in Hotels, Youth Hostels and Kibbutzim, fully supervised by Madrichim (counselors)
- Teens will spend approximately a week in areas of Israel, traveling on air-conditioned tour buses while participating in beach clean-ups, working with Sudanese refugees, Leket (food banks), Save-A-Child's Heart and many other community-based service projects
- Teens will interact with various Israeli communities, and explore the history and culture of Israel with sightseeing and fun recreational activities
- Community service hours provided
- Financial aid available for teens who qualify
AMHSI Entrepreneurship
This exciting 5-week program offering teens the opportunity to discover “Israel as a Start-up Nation,” from inception to present day.

- Participants will learn how Israel’s history, culture, and geography has led to its development as a hub for entrepreneurship.
- During the 5-week session teens will have the opportunity to travel throughout the land of Israel, seeing both traditional sites as well as visiting Israel Start-Up’s and Tech Companies
- The teens will focus on conceptualizing, building, prototyping, and pitching a viable startup to a panel of investors at a culminating gala event
- Teens will participate in seminars, tiyulim (trips), meetings with start-up companies and more
- Financial aid available for students who qualify
