Teen Volunteer in Israel Missions
Israel needs us now more than ever! Join one of our Volunteer Teen Missions as an opportunity to make an impact and provide immediate relief to the land and the people of Israel.

VOLUNTEERING HIGHLIGHTS
- Open to all high school students above 15
- Missions will be based on either our Hod HaSharon or Be'er Sheva campus. Learn more about Our Campuses
- Take part in rebuilding, planting trees, cooking, assisting in the daycares and more community service activities
- Work together in farms, picking produce to ensure no farmer is left alone
- Learn from experienced AMHSI educators and madrichim (counselors)
- Travel around the land volunteering for 5-6 hours daily
- Meet with displaced communities, families of hostages, and more!
Classic Israel
Classic 6-week academic program, formally known as Foundations Israel, will take students on a 4,000-year journey throughout the History and Culture of Israel beginning with the Middle Bronze Age and ending with the Modern Middle East.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Academic program offered to rising 11th and 12th graders - LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE
- Learn more about Our Campuses
- Students are eligible for high school credits and optional college credits
- Students average 3 days a week in a classroom setting and 3 days a week traveling on tiyulim (trips) all throughout Israel
- Classroom time will include lectures, assignments, quizzes, essays, and a final exam
- Financial aid available for teens who qualify
Explore Israel
A comprehensive and action-packed 5-week experiential-learning program, offering teens the opportunity to explore all the rich history, traditions and culture that Israel has to offer, learning about the land and people of Israel while becoming a part of it.

- Follow all of the traditional AMHSI learning without all of the exams.
- Explore Israel from the North to South, with all the points in-between!

Entrepreneurship
A comprehensive and action-packed 5-week adventure-based learning program where teens will get to discover Israel as the "Start-Up Nation!"
Over the course of the summer, participants will travel throughout the land of Israel, seeing both traditional sites as well as visiting Israel's premier Start-Ups and tech companies, culminating in a

- Participants will be eligible to earn the NYU Bronfman Institute Certificate for Impact and Intrapreneurship
- Participants will focus on conceptualizing, building, prototyping, and pitching a viable startup to a panel of investors
- Explore Israel's start-ups from the North to South, and discover a world of intrepid ingenuity and innovation
- Financial aid available for students who qualify
Roots Israel
A unique 4-week travel program focusing on Tikun-Olum, learning, traveling, and community service opportunities for our teens.
Teens will spend every week in different regions of Israel, while participating in beach clean-ups, working with Sudanese refugees, volunteering with Leket, Israel's National Food Bank, Save-A-Child's Heart, and many other community-based service projects!

HIGHLIGHTS
- This travel program is offered to rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders
- This is a travel-based program with accommodations in hotels, youth hostels and kibbutzim, fully supervised by Madrichim (counselors)
- Teens will travel on air-conditioned tour buses, interacting with Israeli communities, and exploring the history and culture of Israel with sightseeing and recreational activities
- 40+ community service hours provided on the program for all participants
- Financial aid available for students who qualify

To apply for a voucher, participants must be a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade Jewish teen, may not currently attend an Orthodox Jewish Day School, must self-identify as Jewish, must reside in the United States or Canada, and must not have received a previous RootOne voucher. There are no exceptions to these criteria.
*Teen Volunteer in Israel Missions are run in cooperation with Mosaic United and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism.
