Overall my major goal is to make the best out of my experience here at HSI

While I am here at HSI for 8 weeks I hope to accomplish a lot. 
My experience so far has been everything I have hoped for personally and academically. 
I hope I am able to make long lasting connections and friendships with my friends and madrichim. I am only here once with these people so I want to make the most out of the time I have with them because every minute is important. 
Academically, one of my goals is to learn about Israel and so far I have learned so much in class and from the trips we have gone on so far. Learning about a place in class and then having the opportunity to travel there is definitely the best way to learn.  In my general studies classes, my goal is to be able to keep up with my classes back at home. I will communicate with my teacher both here in Israel and back at home to guarantee I am keeping up.
I have learned so much here at AMHSI so far. I am growing as a person and becoming more independent. One of my goals is to get better at time management and to procrastinate less and HSI is teaching me how to balance my time and work schedule with my free time and friends.
Another goal I have is to try new things. During my time here in Israel I want to try new foods and be open to all of the activities Israel and HSI have to offer. 
Overall my major goal is to make the best out of my experience here at HSI and live every day to the fullest. I have had the best 10 days here and I can’t wait to continue the next several weeks here with my friends accomplishing more goals.
