Shabbat in Israel
Shabbat in Israel
Shabbat in Israel has always been very magical for me. It’s an experience that only the Jewish community can understand. It creates memories that we will remember for the rest of our lives. It doesn’t matter if you are practicing or not, religious or not. No matter what, it gets more special every time.
Shabbat is special because it offers a profound opportunity for connection and reflection. In the middle of our busy lives, it's a chance to hit pause, gather with loved ones, and truly appreciate each other's company. It's not just about the rituals and the food (although those are great, too), but about feeling connected to each other and to something bigger. In Israel, the whole country takes a break to honor Shabbat, which makes it even more meaningful. It's a chance to relax, reflect, and appreciate what we have. Through songs, prayers, and sharing meals, we feel closer to each other and to our traditions.
Shabbat reminds us to take a moment to appreciate the people in our lives and the blessings we have. It's a time to feel grateful and recharge for the week ahead. Shabbat in Muss has been even more special because it has allowed me to celebrate all these things with my new friends. The friends that I have made throughout my time at Muss will be with me forever and there is genuinely nowhere I’d rather be other than here!
