I have learned so much not only about myself but how I work and interact with others as well

In my time here at HSI, I have learned so much not only about myself but how I work and interact with others as well. Finding a balance of studying, working out, spending time with friends, and living a healthy life is a challenge, a good one that I know is preparing me for the future.

I have many new freedoms which leads to more responsibilities, that have taught me a lot so far! It is so different compared to how I thought I was going to be living, I thought I was going to have such a hard time adjusting to living with people and seeing them almost 24/7. Instead they all have helped me so much with homework and answering any questions I had when my teacher wasn’t available. On a regular school day I wake up at 7 am get ready, go to breakfast and then Israeli studies. After that I have my general studies classes. It is nothing like public school in Seattle. Here I am able to contact my teachers by texting them or calling them and the classes are small so I don’t hesitate to ask questions. I get more one on one time and any extra help I need. This is very helpful for me because it takes me more time to understand and comprehend what I am learning. I have been able to see what I prioritize over other things and have been able to fix it. Over all I have learned so much about myself and I have loved being able to get a sneak peek at what it could be like in college.
