I knew that in order for me to achieve this I would have to step out of my comfort zone...
Before I even got to Israel, there were goals that I knew I wanted to meet and now that I am actually in the land of the chosen people, I have even more goals that I now want to accomplish. Before I got here, I knew I wanted to become more open to trying new things with new people. I knew that in order for me to achieve this I would have to step out of my comfort zone and be more willing to do things I had never done before. When I arrived in Israel, I did not know anyone. This forced me to get out there and make a name for myself. I went out and talked to people who I had not known whatsoever. In doing so, I have an amazing group of friends and I know that our relationship will last a very long time. Also, when I finally arrived in Israel and got to experience some of what Israel has to offer, my goal count increased tremendously. Now that I have experienced some of what Israel has to offer, my goals are now more specifically related to Israel and Judaism. Now, I my biggest goal to achieve is to get closer to my Jewish identity. I want to understand my history and heritage more and really understand what defines me as jewish. I want to dive in deeper and fully understand the beautiful history of the Jewish people, my people. I also want to take what I learned back home and use it to spread jewish education wherever I go. This is my main goal because I know that if I accomplish this, I will be the truest person I could possibly be and help spread the teachings of the Torah in my town and across the entire world.
