Discover AMHSI
Heller High is a semester-long program of the Union for Reform Judaism offered in partnership with the Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI). Heller High students enjoy a unique Reform Jewish experience on the AMHSI campus, including a separate Israel Studies course, holidays, Shabbat celebrations, special tiyulim (field trips), and a smaller more intimate community.

Heller High at AMHSI
Students at URJ Heller High are full participants in the Alexander Muss High School in Israel academic program while living on the AMHSI campus in Hod HaSharon, Israel. Located outside of Tel Aviv, the campus is a pluralistic Jewish community that includes dorms, dining halls, classrooms, and a fully accredited High School educational experience.
How to Apply to URJ Heller High
Life on the Hod HaSharon Campus
Heller High students are roomed together in the AHMSI dorms. They enjoy their own designated communal space where they hold worship services and special programming. In addition, they have their own “living room” area to hang out with fellow students and build their unique Reform Jewish community.
General Studies at AMHSI
Heller High students are full participants in the General Studies curriculum at AMHSI. This integration gives Heller High students a great opportunity to learn with Jewish teens from across the world in a dynamic pluralistic community.
Tuition Information
Students in URJ Heller High pay the same amount for the semester as AMHSI students, while also enjoying the unique Reform Jewish experience of Heller High.

Scholarships: With the generosity of the Heller Family and other donors, the URJ can provide needs-based scholarships specifically for Heller High families. Use the AMHSI scholarship application to apply.
