Ilana was born in England and made Aliyah on her own at the age of 18, fulfilling a lifelong dream to make Israel her home. She lives in Modiin with her husband and four children. With a deep passion for Zionist education, she has spent her career involved in informal educational programs, believing strongly in the importance of giving young people meaningful opportunities to connect with Israel in all its complexity, beauty, and diversity.
