Elysheva grew up in New York and made Aliyah after high school. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and an M.Ed. in Mathematics Education, both from Bar-Ilan University. She has been teaching high school math at all levels for over ten years.

Elysheva believes that learning math is not only important for the knowledge it provides, but also because it challenges students to think differently, stretch their minds, and develop new ways of understanding the world.
