Taking Off the Blindfold
All at once we take it in. The sweeping landscape of Jerusalem. Some for the thousandth time, some for the first, for all, it is a truly magical moment.
On our second Tiyul (field trip), Jerusalem, our first stop in the holy city was a big reveal involving closing the bus curtains, putting strips of fabric over our eyes, and our madrichim leading us to a mysterious lookout in which we saw Jerusalem for the first time on our trip.
Taking off the blindfold might seem plain and simple for some, but for the kids at Muss, taking off the blindfold is more than an action or a moment — It is the beginning of an adventure, one that lasts 4 months and one that we know will change us forever.
We are all so excited to truly kick off our trip with such a beautiful moment and we know there are more moments to come.
