Studying abroad is a very unique experience that many students take part in. It is something that benefits kids in many different ways. One of the biggest impacts that studying abroad has on people is that it exposes them to the big world we live in. Especially young people only see a very small part of the world. Kids only see their community that they live in and that view of the world expands more as you get older. Studying abroad helps speed up this process by a lot. Studying abroad is much different from visiting other countries because when you study abroad it forces you to immerse into the culture unlike being a tourist does.

Studying abroad can also prepare kids for college. College can be a big shock for kids but studying abroad is a good segue into college. Kids are often not used to being in a new place and having to continue their studies which is why a lot of college kids struggle early on. Studying abroad not only prepares kids for the real world culturally but also academically.

I decided to study abroad for these two reasons. The first reason being in the Israeli culture and the next to be able to study about Israel.
