I truly believe that the best way to impact a community is through words as well as actions.

I truly believe that the best way to impact a community is through words as well as actions, especially through the words of a former student. After returning to America I plan to share with my community my experiences. I will share pictures and videos from my tiyul. I also think that photos are a great way to impact the community because showing pictures help people connect more then words do. Over the past 8-weeks I have taken photos from all my trips which I think could highlight Israel’s beauty want to tell my Jewish community including my youth group, BBYO, about all the fun thing I did while studying at AMHSI. I also want to encourage members of my community to visit Israel. I want to do this by discussing how living in Israel has connected me with Judaism and the land itself. I will share stories of unique things I saw and did while in Israel.

For the teen part of my community like my youth group, I will talk about Israel but more centrally about AMHSI. Many teens in my community have already started hearing and seeing from me through social media. I will impact the Jewish teen community in Denver on a personal level by describing what the day-to-day life is like in Israel as a student. I will impact teens by, again, talking about how I feel ready in school and more prepared for the future. I believe the teens aspect is most important as teens today are influenced by their friends and kids their age so therefore hearing experiences from a former student is influential. I think that by showing and sharing my experiences with teens, I could help more teens make the choice to study abroad and particularly attend AMHSI. 

I plant to impact my community by sharing my experiences at AMHSI through photos and just by having conversations. I hope that I will able to make people want to attend AMHSI and live life in Israel.
