The Adventure Continues

When Muss Classic and Entrepreneurship weren’t in class, they spent the week together surfing, kayaking, traveling, and experiencing Israel as a living classroom. From Bat Yam to the Golan Heights, the two groups learned about the history of Israel in the very spots where history took place. At Mitzpe Gadot, they learned about Israeli spy Eli Cohen. At Tel Saki, they learned about the Yom Kippur War and spent the night at Kibbutz Gadot. 

On Wednesday, students visited Yad Vashem for a particularly meaningful educational experience about the atrocities of the Holocaust. Later that day, on the eve of Tisha B’Av, they visited the Kotel.  

Friday morning, the groups headed north for a two-day Shabbat experience at Yam Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). There, they’ll spend the weekend doing water activities, touring the beautiful city of Tzfat, and bonding as a group away from campus. 

For the Explore group, the week began with their trip to the Kinneret. Students toured the city of Tzfat before enjoying a day on the water with kayaking and a sunset boat ride. On Monday, they hiked the Arbel Cliffs and cooled off with water sports. 

Students spent a full day exploring Tel Aviv, visiting the Carmel Market, and spending time at the beach. Later in the week, Muss Explore volunteered at the Michael Levin Lone Soldier Center before visiting Yad Vashem. They also closed this day with a visit to the Kotel on the eve of Tisha B'Av. 

Before Shabbat, the Explore group traveled north to the Golan Heights. They are now spending their two-day Shabbat experience at Kibbutz Gadot, hiking, touring, and celebrating Shabbat together.
