An Impactful Start

During my six days in Israel on Muss, each day brought something new and meaningful. On the first day, we arrived, unpacked, and shared dinner together as we settled in. Day two was orientation, where we toured the area before traveling to Jerusalem for Shabbat dinner and visiting the Kotel.

On day three, we stayed in Jerusalem, walked through a park, and then took the bus back to campus to prepare for classes. Days four and five were spent starting classes, meeting our teachers, and getting into the academic routine.

On day six, we went on our first tiyul to Tel Gezer, where we went on a short hike and explored a cave with bats. We ate lunch out and then visited the Biblical Museum of Natural History, where we got to hold animals like snakes, bunnies, and rats. We ended the day at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv, where we saw the hostage clock stopped.

It has been so fun meeting everyone and having so many new experiences. I’m so excited for what’s to come!
