Visiting Tel Aviv and Yafo
Last week at Muss, we went on two tiyulim, but my favorite one was our trip to Tel Aviv and Yafo. We began in the Florentin district, which is famous for its graffiti and public artwork. There, we learned about the development and unique character of the neighborhood and how it represents the modern, creative energy of the city.
After that, we headed to Shuk HaPishpeshim in Jaffa, where we had an amazing lunch and spent time exploring the flea market. We ended the day with a fascinating tour of the ancient city of Yafo, learning about its long and meaningful history.
Even though this tiyul wasn’t as academically intense as some of our others, we still learned a great deal — and we got to experience one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in Israel
