The Best Experience of My Life
One memorable moment this week was when we were in the middle of Tel Aviv walking around with a note sheet, asking random people on the street questions. One of the questions we asked was, “Would you ever leave Israel to live somewhere else?”
I noticed that every single person said no. They all spoke about how special Israel is and how they would never want to leave because of its significance to them.
Personally, I totally agree with them. This program has opened my eyes to so many new things—especially slowing down, taking everything in, and staying focused on whatever we’re learning or doing. By paying attention throughout the program, I know I’ll be able to come home with so much knowledge, meaning, and stories to share with my peers.
This has been the best experience of my life, and I’m so happy to be here in Israel.
