Muss students ventured down south this week on a 3-day tiyul (trip) to experience the magic of the desert and Israel's Red Sea! On their way, the group stopped at Beta Israel to learn about the history of the Ethiopian Jewish community and hear about Ethiopian lifestyle. From there, students visited Ben Gurion's gravesite at Ben-Gurion's Tomb National Park and hiked in Ein Avdat, an oasis and National Park in the Negev. They finished the first day of the trip checking into Eilat Field School.

On Wednesday morning, students hiked to the top of Mount Tzfachot at the southern tip of the Eilat Mountain range and then cooled off with swimming and snorkeling at the Coral Beach Nature Reserve.

The day ended with movie night at Eilat's Ice Mall, where the group watched Project Hail Mary.

Thursday, the last day of the trip, was a hike through the Red Canyon and visit to Mitzpe Ramon before finally returning to campus.

This week featured a hybrid Shabbat, so students had the opportunity to go off-campus and spend time with family and friends.
