Even in challenging and uncertain times, our students continue to show remarkable resilience—supporting one another, staying engaged in their studies, and finding moments of joy, connection, and growth each day.
On Sunday, students had a meaningful conversation with a Muss alum who is currently serving as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Corps. It was a sobering reminder of the sacrifices so many make every day to keep our country safe, while also showcasing the power of perseverance and commitment.
Later this week, the teens participated in an “Innovation Day," where students presented original startup ideas. Throughout the pitching, they learned about Israel’s status as the “Startup Nation” and how ingenuity, passion, and creative thinking can solve many of the world's issues. They concluded the day with a lively silent disco, giving them the opportunity to blow off steam and stay energized for the rest of the week.
Finally, our students united for outdoor team-building activities on campus, featuring Olympic-style challenges. Working together, the students exercised, problem-solved, and grew even closer as a unit.
Throughout all of this, the students have kept up with their full academic programming throughout the week, including in-person Israel studies and general studies classes. They have already grown so much, and we believe the best is yet to come on this life-changing journey.
