The past week has been an eventful one. Even with Israel’s complex situation, our students have shown incredible resilience, continuing their full academic programming, including Israel Studies and General Studies classes, throughout the week, all while approaching each day with curiosity and joy.

On Sunday, our students participated in Pilates sessions focused on movement, relaxation, and stress relief. The exercises helped the students decompress and prepare for the week ahead. Later that day, they played basketball and volleyball in the gym to stay active and energized.

The next day, the Madrichim led a special “Hunger Games” campus activity that brought students together for a friendly competition. Students competed in various games and challenges, keeping their spirits up in a challenging time.

On Tuesday, our January mini-mester students took part in a lively MasterChef contest. The competition was fierce, as evidenced by all the delicious food everyone got to eat.

Later this week, everyone enjoyed a creative Muss-themed scavenger hunt across campus. Using their knowledge of Muss, Israel, and Judaism, students traveled across campus, deciphering clues, engaging with their peers, and experiencing the satisfaction of solving a puzzle. That feeling of accomplishment continued with mobile escape rooms that we brought to campus, giving students an immersive team challenge.

Throughout the week, time has been intentionally built in for rest and recovery, helping students recharge. Thankfully, Muss’s campus remains secure, and we are blessed to be in a country with advanced defense systems.

Our students remain safe and happy, and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us to keep your children safe. It’s a responsibility we take incredibly seriously, and we will continue to do what’s best for our teens while keeping you appraised.
