At the beginning of this trip I had set a number of goals that I would like to accomplish by the end of it. First of all I made so many new friends and made a lot of memories with them. I had such a great time traveling all over Israel. I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. I learned so much stuff that I never knew about before. I had so much fun. This was one of the best summers ever. I got to go to a couple different beaches and they were so pretty. However, some of them had jellyfish in them. I have never seen jellyfish before so it was cool to see them in person and not just in pictures. On this trip I have become more religious. This is because everyone is Jewish and its easier to practice in Israel than in America. There are more historical sites in Israel than in America. I went on so many hikes. This was very fun as I always liked hiking. As I traveled around Israel I saw how many locals live. For an activity we walked around and asked the local Israelis questions about living in Israel. This gave me an insight on what its like to live in Israel. We also visited a Druze village. Even though these people lived in Israel they were’t Jewish. This showed that there are different religions in Israel and not just Jewish people. We also went to a mosque and saw how a Islamic person lives in Israel. When we went on our tiyuls most times we had dinner on the streets. This was when we could go out and eat at local restaurants. All this food that I had was amazing! I did learn a couple words in Hebrew. We would refer to things in Hebrew when we talked about them like the trips and counselors.
