This week was amazing! One of my favorites so far. It started out by waking up at 4:30 in the morning and going on a four hour bus ride to Eilat. We went on a six hour hike in the desert and it was so beautiful. Everything was so huge and I felt so small compared to it but it was such an unreal feeling. I tried a lot of new things like rubbing colored mud on our faces and dunking our heads in a natural spring, it was so cold but so worth it. While we were walking we came across a piece of a missile from the Iron Dome, which was interesting. To see in person and not hearing crazy things on the news. Then the last hour we hiked straight up and it was so hard by the end I felt horrible then we saw the view and it was amazing! After a little bit we all spread out and sat silently and it was so quiet and beautiful. Then we drove to kibbutz Kitora and it was so pretty with the mountains in the background and the date trees.

The next day we went on a small hike and when we got to the top we had a perfect view of the Gulf of Eilat and we were able to see 4 countries at once: Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Then we went snorkeling and it was so much fun!!! The water was very cold, but the coral and fish were perfect. It was very short but then we got to take showers but they were outside and it was so nice and the water was hot and the view was of mountains! After, we had free time in Eilat so my friend and I just laid out on the beach for an hour and it was so nice and relaxing. Then came Shabbat which was relaxing. And on Saturday we all hung around the kibbutz and passes the football around and ate a lot of food! Such an amazing tiyul.
