So far I’ve been having SO MUCH FUN and we’ve only been here for a few days! I’m all unpacked, and already feel like I’m at home! I love all my madrichim! Gil, Yuval, Ayelet, & Dorin! They are so sweet and always know the answers to my questions about this summer session! My roommates are also pretty awesome! Dani, Sabrina, Lara, and Betty. We enjoy each others company too. Another plus, is that I’ve actually been sleeping pretty well and finally getting over the jet lag! Took a few days, but better late than never! Can’t forget about my teacher! Mr. Aubrey is an amazing teacher and I can’t wait for what this summer holds in his classroom! He’s very passionate and keeps me very engaged every second of his classes! I know for a fact that I can say the same for my classmates as well! I love learning Jewish history and to learn it in the one and only Eretz Yisrael is beyond me and absolutely incredible! Yesterday was so exciting! I enjoyed every minute of our tiyyul! We went to Tel Gezer and it was divine! The hike was a little brutal at some points, but it was definitely worth it. My favorite part was being able to learn Jewish history while witnessing the grounds it all took place at! Very eye opening, I must say. Not very many students get to have that opportunity and I’m so grateful I had the privilege. Tomorrow we leave for an overnight tiyyul to Gilboa and Jerusalem! I’m super excited! We are going water hiking, going to Ben Yehuda, etc. I’m most excited for Jerusalem! While I’m there, I am really hoping to reach one of my many goals. To get a necklace with my Hebrew name on it! When I do get one, I don’t think I’ll ever take it off! My expectation for this summer is to have the most amazing, most memorable, and spectacular time! I without a doubt believe that I will return home with the most suspenseful and incredible stories to share with my entire family. They are so excited for me but not as excited as I am!!
