This is Degania, which was the first Kibbutz in Israel. It is also where Rachel the Poet met Gordon and wrote poems about the land and living in Israel. This is significant because she impacted people around the world with her poetry. This connects to me because the absolute beauty of the scenery took me aback, which represents to me the beauty of Israel. - Sam
