It’s one thing to learn about history it’s another to experience the history your learning about in person. After first tiyul and getting to know my roommates I have had the best time. Exploring everything is so incredible and being away from home is so amazing. My favorite thing to do is to go into town with all my friends and get falafel and I’m a picky eater so for me to be trying so many new foods and liking it is a big deal.

I know it’s only been a week but I already feel so much more independent It’s my job to get myself food it’s my job to make sure to balance my school work and social life. I can already tell that by the end of this trip I’m going to be my best self. I have never had to share a room before in my life so sharing with roommates and being with people 24/7 is also incredibly. At first I was a little iffy about sharing a room with 4 people but it’s one of the best parts of the trip.  After the first week we all got to know each other so well that by the first weekend I was sad to see some of my friends leave for the day. But the first weekend ended But then what we thought would be a boring weekend ended up being so much fun. I got so much closer with people that I hadn’t had the ability to talk to before. Overall, I am extremely excited for the rest of my trip and I’m already regretting I didn’t sign up for the semester trip. Ok I have to go now I have class with my favorite teacher Yossi.
