Israel has some very special moments but the only one that really feels like won’t happen in America is the yeshiva during Simchat Torah. Going there I thought it was going to be really boring and when I got there my suspicions were true, we sat there for thirty minutes listening to the yeshiva rabbi talk while the person in charge of the group translating everything, during this I almost fell asleep so when they started moving things around I got excited because everything they said about how fun and great this is was almost here. They brought out the Torah’s and I was thinking of how they just moved the chairs so the Torah could move around and bring the Torah around the room. But the older men from the yeshiva started to dance and sing so we all joined in yelling and having a really fun time. Even though none of us knew any of the songs we were just jumping in circles. Anyways on the way back we were all tired and it took us at least an hour and a half to get back to the hotel. We all fell asleep immediately. That was something I will never forget. But this trip has been really fun and I’m looking forward to Poland in a few weeks. My dorm has been really fun and we are doing some fun things. We have done some in room games such as duck duck goose, hide and go seek, and tag. Yam le yam is really soon and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and how much mental strength I’m going to need. But the trip as a whole so far has been really good and I am enjoying myself.
