It has been seven weeks of the eighteen in the semester of Alexander Muss High School in Israel. It has been a great seven weeks, with many great moments, memories, and activities. We have been traveling all around Israel, and visited many places. Also, we have been studying the history of Israel for the past thousand years. This week we will be going to Yam Le Yam, which is a four day hike, from the west side of Israel to the east side, or from the Mediterranean Sea to the Kinneret.  It has been an intense, but fun weeks that I look forward to spending. Many great things occur in Israel, that don’t happen in any other place.

An only Israel moment, that I like seeing in Israel, is seeing all the religious Jews and the soldiers walking around in the street. This is very special, because in no other place you will see so many Jews and soldiers walking around, with such normality. All the soldiers either have their uniform on, or just dress like civilians. To know that they are soldiers, is that they always have their gun with them. The soldiers usually have to bring their guns everywhere they go. They even have to sleep with their guns next to them.

Seeing so many religious Jews on the streets is something nobody will ever see in any other place, but Israel. The place where you see most religious Jews is in Jerusalem. Some are more religious than others, and dress differently. The very Hasidic Jews, wear fox fur hats, which impresses me a lot, because I’ve never seen something like that before, only have seen them in movies. It’s incredible how so many Jews walk around without shame of showing their religion, because of all the anti semitism all around the world.

Overall, there are many great moments that only occur in Israel, but for me one of the most special things, is seeing the religious Jews and the soldiers in the streets. It’s incredible how there are so many of these people in such a small country. It is great how they get so much appreciation by people.
