I cannot believe we are already more than half way through this session! Each tiyul is more amazing than the last! I had the most amazing time exploring Tel Aviv, and then we spent a night in the Bedouin tents. I have made really great friends here, all of the camels and stray animals included. At the Bedouin sight, we all sang songs around a campfire and it was so much fun. There was a really campy vibe there. I thought a night in a tent would be a lot worse than it is. What made it worth it for me was waking up at 5 o'clock AM to see the sunrise. Even though it was pretty cloudy, it was about the experience.

Since I have been here, there have a been a number of culture shocks that have stood out to me. Of course, I have noticed how everything shuts down on Shabbat, and some places do not even open back up on Saturday nights.

Some of my most treasured time here has been spent on the bus going from destination to destination. We sing songs, share snacks, and play fun games.

Aside from every beautiful sight I have scene here, it some of the most underrated things that resonate with me. This past weekend we stumbled upon a lemon tree that I have been thinking about ever since. I have never seen lemons growing like that, and I just thought it was so simple and beautiful. I am looking forward to more random places of beauty in the next month.
