Israel is one of my favorite places in the world.

Israel is one of my favorite places in the world. Every year I go to see my family and every year I can't wait to go back. I'm especially excited for this trip because I have never gone alone or for more than a few weeks at a time to Israel and this time I would be doing both of those at Alexander Muss High School in Israel. 

I am hoping to make good friends and memories that last a lifetime. I also hope that I will feel even more connected to my heritage in Israel and that I will get to experience Israel in new ways while I am there. I am expecting to see new places or see places I have already visited in a new way. And I am also expecting that I will have an amazing experience that I will want to give others the opportunity to have as well.

My only fear for this trip is that I don't know anyone else on the program and that it will be hard for me to make friends but I know that I will be able to even if it's not at first. I chose to apply to the impact fellowship because I want to help other people connect with their heritage in Israel and I can do that by being part of the impact fellowship. I also applied to the fellowship because it would make the experience of being at Alexander Muss even better and more educational. I can't wait to go to Israel and have an amazing experience.
