Even though I am not Israeli, I am Jewish so it felt good to help those similar to me

Today was such a fun day where I was able to help my distant community in so many ways. Even though I am not Israeli, I am Jewish so it felt good to help those similar to me, even if I do not see them very often. To be able to see all the hard work that goes into all the arts and crafts, make the people smile, and help support it was so much fun. My personal favorite part of the day was helping to pack bags of grain to help feed those who cannot afford it. Not only was it fun to physically do, but it was so fun to be able to know how much of a difference I made today. Lastly, Emek Tzurim was super interesting because we always see archaeological digs, but to actually be apart of one was really cool.
