As I think about my first few days on campus, butterflies swarm my stomach.

As my departure approaches, a million thoughts are running through my mind. I think about the amazing and eye opening experiences I've heard from friends and family who have visited Israel and I hope that my experience will be just like theirs. As I think about my first few days on campus, butterflies swarm my stomach. Questions like: Who will my roommates be? Will I like the structure of my days? And will my classes fulfill my schools requirements all begin to fill my head. Although these worries are important to me, something in the back of my head tells me that I am going to absolutely love it. I hope that my trip is just as special as the stories I've heard that I too, will be ecstatic to share my experience with others, which is why being a fellow is important to me. Although I am nervous, I am also eager to be immersed into a new culture, meet new people and truly experience Israel for what it is.
