The semester is coming to an end and I’m pretty sad about it. This has been the most amazing experience and I’m so happy I came to HSI. My first goal at the begging was to make new friends. That goal was met. I’ve made the bestest friends and I’m so sad I’m leaving them. My friends here are practically family. My second goal was to get good grades. I have met that goal. I worked hard here and it payed off. The goal of keeping my room clean was met. Everyone in my room was really tidy so it gave me a lot of motivation to keep clean. I sadly didn’t learn fluent Hebrew but I did learn a lot. I want to keep on learning so I know fluently. The hikes on the tiyuls were so much fun. I’ve learned so much in Israeli studies I’m excited to teach my friends and family. I love Tracy my Israeli studies teacher. She’s basically my second mom now. I have gotten so close with my friends, the madrichim, and teachers. Everyone is family here and it’s really great. I’m going to miss Hod Hasharon so much. I’ve gained so much knowledge and grown a lot as an individual. Everyone should know about this program and have the opportunity to go. This was the best experience I have ever had.
