Moving to a new country can be hard there are so many new or different things all around you.

Moving to a new country can be hard there are so many new or different things all around you. You have a new currency, new foods, and new people everywhere you go. There are 35 of us who “moved” to Israel for 4 months. In the time of 2 months that we have been here, we have learned so much about adjusting to a new lifestyle and whole new country.

One of the biggest challenges when moving is going to a place with new languages. In Israel, they speak Hebrew, which is not a common language in the States. In fact, most schools don't even offer it as a class. To move here you should probably have a general or simple understanding of Hebrew. One of the best parts of Israel is the food here. They have such a wide variety of food here. For someone that keeps kosher, like myself, Its really helpful that the majority of the restaurants are kosher. You don't have to worry about what kind of meat your eating or driving an hour away to find a kosher restaurant. If us teenagers were to actually move here we wouldn’t have to worry about driving until we turned 18. Which considering how hard it is to get around here, would not be the worst thing.

Something that is really great is how easy it is to be Jewish in this country. Unlike the US, which doesn’t exactly have huge Jewish community, Israel is just beaming with Judaism. The way the lifestyle is here, makes it much easier to to live a good Jewish life.
