I have to say it was probably one of the most spiritual experiences of my life.
We have been in isolation for the past couple weeks and as frustrating as this situation is, it’s honestly been going fine. I’ve made so many more friends and created so many memories over the past couple days. People I never thought of talking to are having lunch with me everyday. It’s crazy how much can happen in such a short amount of time.
We recently celebrated Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur which were both really exciting and special to be celebrating in Israel. I have to say it was probably one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. It is currently Wednesday and this weekend we will be celebrating Sukkot. We are decorating the Sukkah with fake fruits and it is coming along really cool, I can’t wait to see the finished product! It is starting to look like the isolation period might get extended and although that is a bummer I love getting to know all my peers and Madrichim and I just know after we all become super close in quarantine it will make the next 3 months 10x more exciting.
