I am looking forward to learn a lot more about Israel’s history.

My expectations for this semester are pretty high, I am looking forward to learn a lot more about Israel’s history. To experience a new learning environment, to meet more people like me, who share a Jewish background. To be educated enough to be able to go back home and teach others, to be able to spread Zionism. I fear that I will miss my family, my mom’s food and Shabbat at home. I will miss my Trey Trey/my dog and my best friend Ale. I am hoping to gain more love for Israel, knowledge about Judaism and Israel from this experience.

I chose to apply for the fellowship because I feel like in school in America don’t really emphasize their education about Israel. Also because I believe that traveling around Israel and exchanging knowledge with my Jewish peers and educators will not only be a fun experience but also a great opportunity to learn more about my Jewish history.
