AMHSI is the expert in providing day schools with the opportunity to bring their classes to Israel and experience our landmark educational programs. We work with each day school to create a meaningful, intensive and transformative Israel educational experience for 8th Grade, sophomore, junior and senior high school students. Programs can range in length from between three to 19 weeks. The schools that study with us in the Sophomore and Junior years receive the full range of General Studies subjects. The students who come to us as Seniors concentrate on a Jewish-Israel experience only. We are a test site for SAT'S and AP exams.

AMHSI  has been a provider of custom designed academic programs in Israel and Eastern Europe for Jewish day schools throughout North America since 1995. We seek to educate young people to be aware of the past, live in the present, ensure the future, and assume leadership roles in the Jewish community. We strive to help students grow spiritually, socially, emotionally and academically. To achieve this, we challenge and enrich students on a cognitive and emotional, physical and spiritual, and individual and communal level. We offer a rich learning experience, one that fosters independent thinking and one which respects and advances the academic and ethical standards consistent with the highest Jewish ideals.

A hallmark of the AMHSI  program is our use of teachers and educators, not tour guides. All are experienced at teaching in formal settings and in the field. Our teachers have great knowledge of the sites in Israel, academic training in Jewish history, experience teaching youth, and a love of learning and teaching. Through the AMHSI  experiential style, hands-on curriculum, our educators have the gift of making Israel come alive and become relevant to teenagers.
