This session allows students to further explore the country by spending full semester in Israel! Students will use our campus to interact with the local community of Hod HaSharon, learn the language through our Hebrew course offerings, experience basic training at an IDF army base, go on a four-day hiking adventure from the Mediterranean Sea to the Sea of Galilee (Yam LeYam) as well as undergo a meaningful journey through Poland, discovering the history of Polish Jewish life and the destructive impact of the Holocaust. We offer the most unique and engaging program for students to study abroad in Israel for a full semester, using the land as a classroom.
As in all sessions, the AMHSI flagship core curriculum, an engaging review of Israel and 4,000 years of Jewish history, is the guiding force of our Semester in Israel program. Students also take a full semester of general studies courses.

“During my semester with Muss, my life was redirected. We returned home knowledgable and proud of Israel and being Jewish. More than that, Muss taught us to take action for what we believe in today.” -Brooke Feldman, Spring 2008
