"A Voice Called:  Stories of Jewish Heroism"

On February 17th 2010, AMHSI, together with Gefen Publishing House, hosted a wonderful evening at the school in honor of the launching of Yossi Katz's first published book, "A Voice Called: Stories of Jewish Heroism".

The AMHSI Bet Knesset was filled with over 160 people, including current students, staff and guests.

Among many of the special guests, including our Chairman, Mr. Stephen Muss, we were honored to have the family of Israeli legend Eli Cohen (z"l) attend, and Avraham Cohen, Eli's youngest brother, gave a moving address.

Among the book's chapter subjects (the "heroes") who attended, we were honored to have an alum of Yossi's from 21 years ago, and the son of one of our Board members, Baruch (Brian) Bebchick, who also gave an address.

It was an enjoyable and memorable evening had by all and we wish Yossi Katz every success with his book.
